Will decide on quitting govt after Jan 26

: Transport Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar said the final decision on BJP-MGP alliance as well as all other issues including his resignation from the government will be after January 26.

PANJIM: Transport Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar said the final decision on BJP-MGP alliance as well as all other issues including his resignation from the government will be after January 26.

The MGP MLA said he would not resign from the government before January 26, and he is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Digambar Kamat on January 25.

“As per the protocol, I would be receiving the Chief Minister who will preside over the Republic Day function,” said Dhavalikar.

The Chief Minister would preside over the January 26 function in the absence of Governor K Sankaranarayanan. The flag hoisting ceremony will be performed by Chief Minister at the Parade Ground, Campal.

On Tuesday, the MGP had declared at a press conference that results on alliance talks would be out by end of this week.
