PANJIM: Former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Saturday said that he will publicly felicitate Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant if he resumes mining operations within next three months by renewing 88 mining leases that were quashed by the Supreme Court.
Reacting to Sawant’s statement that the government to restart mining activity within next three months, Dhavalikar said that since 2012 every Chief Minister is assuring people from mining belt that mining will restart within three months but till date it had not started.
“If Sawant succeeds to resume mining operations within three months by renewing 88 mining leases then I will publicly felicitated him,” Dhavalikar said.
