PANJIM: Under the initiative of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) project “IAIMS”, all the affiliated colleges will be provided with the one common digital finance platform for daily accounting activities.
DHE recently concluded the workshop on finance management software and library management software for accountants and librarians of all colleges under its administrative purview.
The software introduced by DHE automates many of the colleges’ daily responsibilities, including generating billing statements, accepting fee payments, running customised financial reports, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations. It assists institutes to manage all administrative and academic tasks in a single integrated system.
Similarly, workshop was conducted on ‘Koha’ for all the librarians. Koha encapsulates all modules required for a comprehensive library software. Koha includes modules for acquisitions, circulation, cataloging, serials management, authorities, flexible reporting, label printing, multi-format notices.
