Yet another case of allegedly Molesting a minor student by a
physical education teacher of government high school from Salcete area has come
to light today. Cuncolim police initially detained the concerned teachers today
evening and after interrogation arrested him. He was taken to South Goa District
hospital Margao for medical examination by a police team and a report is
awaited.
Cuncolim PI based on the complaint lodged by head mistress
of concern government high school has
registered the offence under section Section 354 (A) (molestation) of Indian
Penal Code (IPC), 509 ipc and Section 8
of Goa Children’s Act, under section 12 of protection of children from sexually
offences ( POCSO Act) and section 67, 67 (A )of information technology act 2000
against alleged accused .
Police said that the alleged accused physical education
teacher of government high school committed an act of watching the minor girl student at the time of
skipping rope activity in the school. Police said that he did this in school with
the intention of outraging the modesty of a minor girl student.
Police further said that further allege accused person also shared
pronographical videos to the minor student from his personal mobile phone there
by violating the privacy of the
minor girl student of the said school
and thus commit offence .He will be produced before the court on
Thursday for remand, said police.
