MARGAO: A fire incident occurred in a residential house near Chowgule College in Gogol, Margao, resulting in damage to a washing machine. A team from the Margao fire station rushed to the scene to bring the fire under control. Although the washing machine suffered damage, property worth Rs 100,000 was saved, according to Margao Station Fire Officer, Gil Souza. The estimated loss from the incident amounts to Rs 20,000.
