VASCO: One 24-year-old youth was arrested by Dabolim Airport Police under the charges of showing pornographic content to a minor boy of a foreign national at the Dabolim Airport.
Police have recovered the mobile from the youth. As per the information available, recently, a minor boy of a foreign national, while playing at the airport terminal building area, the 24-year-old youth who was sitting nearby allegedly called the boy and reportedly showed the pornographic content to this boy.
The minor boy later narrated this incidence to his father who due to his flight timings had to leave in haste but after he reached at the Mumbai airport filed complaint with the Mumbai police, they registered it and redirected it to Dabolim Airport Police.
Sources from Dabolim Airport Police informed that the youth was nabbed and offence was registered against the youth under the Goa Childrens Act and POCSO.
The youth was later produced before the court and got one day police custody. Again on Thursday, he was produced before the court, and was granted more five days police custody.
The police have recovered the mobile phone of the arrested youth and further investigation is in progress under the supervision of PI Gurudas Kadam.
