MARGAO: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday urged the government to cross check all the certificates submitted by government employees to get their jobs in view of the fact that Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes’ got a government job by producing a fake certificate.
AAP’s Zilla Panchayat (ZP) candidates Aishwarya Fernandes and Hanzel Fernandes jointly made this appeal. Aishwarya said the issue of fake certificates is tantamount to injustice to Goans who study hard and procure their genuine certificates only to be beaten by fake certificate holders in getting government jobs.

“By not taking action against such deeds, the government is playing with the lives of youngsters like me who follow the law of the land and work hard to earn respectability and acceptability in society,” she said.
“Isidore’s son relying upon fake certificate is truly a shameful act as the father has been active in politics for so long,” said Hanzel while adding that every government servant is now suspect and their certificates need to be verified
