VASCO: The Mormugao police on Sunday arrested a 24-year-old youth Nagraj Pudajali from Shantinagar, Vasco on the charge of stealing items worth Rs 70,000 from a warehouse situated at Baina.
Director of Zesso Ventures Private Limited George Souza had lodged a complaint stating that some unknown persons stole four square mm 300 metres of cables, 270 metres AC cable and 100 metres of earthing cables all totally valued at Rs 70,000 were stolen from Sun 360 warehouse at Baina on Saturday.
Acting on a complaint the Mormugao police team comprising PI Alvito Rodrigues, PSI Yeshwant Raikar, head constable Ayaaz Shaikh and constables Vivek Bhagat, Rajaram Pandrekar and Vassu Patel cracked the case with the arrest of the accused.
A case has been registered against Nagraj Pudajali under sections 454 and 380 of IPC and PSI Yeshwant Raikar is conducting investigations under the guidance of Mormugao PI Alvito Rodrigues and overall guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
