VASCO: Verna Police on Tuesday nabbed a youth in connection with theft of cash and mobile accessories from a mobile store, at Birla Zuarinagar.
According to the police, one youth namely Vinayak Rane (19), from Sada, here, currently residing at Birla Zuarinagar was arrested with the assistance of Call Monitoring Cell of South Goa District headed by PSI Jaideep Amre and local reliable information.
Verna Police registered a complaint stating that in an intervening night of July 17 and 18 some unknown person committed a theft of petty cash of Rs 2,000 and keypad of mobile phones and other electronic items such as pen drives and memory cards worth approximately Rs 27,000 from the mobile store of the complainant located at Birla, Zuarinagar.
