VASCO: Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited (ZACL) has decided to help cultivate the fields of Sancoale farmers and has also decided to desilt the garbage and waste materials from the fields of Sancoale and help the farmers cultivate the field from November-end. This move is expected to benefit several farmers in order to earn their livelihood.
The fields were lying idle since the last several years due to the accumulation of garbage and waste materials which was allegedly flowing into the fields through the drains and nullahs from Birla and Zuarinagar areas and even from the Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.
This decision was taken at a meeting convened by the Sancoale Village Panchayat Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar with ZACL and the traditional farmers.
The meeting was held at Our Lady of Health Church Hall based at Sindolim in Sancoale.
