VASCO: Zuarinagar microcontainment zone has been denotified on Wednesday by by the South Goa collector which was notified on August 31 due to rise in Covid positive cases. Deputy Collector of Mormugao Sachin Desai has appealed to people who have fully recovered from Covid 19 to voluntarily come forward and donate their plasma.
Desai said, “Right now there are no containment zones in Mormugao taluka. Efforts are being put up by the deputy collector’s office to organise Plasma donation camps”. He further informed that one such camp was organised for the government servants who were sent to GMC for donating their plasma.
He also mentioned soem people still continue to visit MPT Covid care centre who cannot stay at home, for the purpose of home isolation.
