Marcel bus stand is in operation since past four years. Vendors rue that there is no much business due to less number of commuter movement.
The foundation stone for Rs 18-crore KTC bus stand at Marcel was laid in 2014 and after completion of work, this stand which was lying unutilised for almost two years due to various issues, was inaugurated on June 2, 2019.
There are around 30 shops and commercial establishments besides a hall in the premises, which somehow earns revenue for the KTCL, through bookings for various events.
There are still 10 shops which are not in use at this bus stand.
