AGENCIES, DELHI: Goa’s Aashreya Naik won the bronze in boxing 63 kgs girls category at the 1st Khelo India School Games which is underway in New Delhi in the penultimate day of the competition.
Aashreya put up a brave fight before going down to Menka Devi of Manipur in the quarter-finals bout thus settling for a bronze medal. With this medal, Goa’s tally rose up to 8 medals. 1-gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze.
