The academy is training 24 boys under the guidance of head coach Mikayel Zakaryan from Armenia. The other coaches include Sahil Usman, Rishan NP and NK Subramanian, all from Kerala.
Speaking to Herald Mikayel stressed on youth team development so that in future one can have good quality players who can participate in reputed tournaments.
The 59-year-old coach Mikayel proudly informed that the academy won the Dubai Super Cup in April, 2015 by getting the better of London 3-0. Teams from India, Brazil, Korea, Spain and Germany had participated in the tournament.
