MARGAO: The All India Public Sector table tennis tournament 2022-23 organised by LIC of India, held at SAG Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda concluded on Friday.
The matches were held in the following categories: team championship: men & women, doubles event – men & women, individual championship – men & women.

In the men’s category, Oil India Limited finished in first place i followed by LIC of India in second place. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Food Corporation of India shared the third place In the women’s category, Reserve Bank Of India claimed first place followed by Food Corporation of India in second place while Bank of Baroda and Oil India Limited shared the third place.
In the men’s doubles, Ankur Battacharjee and Agniv Bhaskar Gohain of OIL were the winners while Sameer Sahani and Chitarksh Bhatt of FCI were the runners up. sougata Sarkar and R Rajesh (LIC) and Aadarsh Om Chhetri and Divyansh Srivastava (HPCL) settled for the third place. In the women’s doubles, RBI’s Ayhika Mukherjee and Amruta Shekhar emerged winners while OIL’s Mouma Das and Trisha Gogoi were the runners up. charwe Kawle and Ananya Basak of FCI and V Kowshika and Gladlyn Flora shared the third place.
Diyansh Srivastava of HPCL defeated lic’S Sougata Sarkar to win the men’s singles title while Senhora D’Souza of BOV downed V Kowshika of FCI.
Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Ms.Kiran Ghai, Regional Manager, Human Resources development, Western Zone, LIC of India & Shri.Rajesh Midha, Secretary, Human Resource Development, Central Office. Prize Distribution was held in the hands of the dignitaries.
