DICARPALE: Ambelim SC defeated Navelim Villagers Union 6-4 to move into final of the 7th Our Lady of Fatima Cup football tournament, at Dicarpale ground, on Thursday.
Ambelim SC dominated the first half with three quick goals which came from the boots of Blasco Fernandes in the 13th minute while Samson
Simoes scored a brace for Ambelim in the 20th and 21st minute.
As the match progressed Jade Colaco increased the lead for Ambelim in the 30th minute while Perryson Rebello and Blasco Fernandes added two more goals for Ambelim SC in the 40th and 50th minute to take the tally to 6-0.
Ambelim thereafter were in the relaxed mood and a foxy approach by Clinton Niasso earned two rich goals dividends for Navelim in the 55th and 57th minute.
Later, Alvito Colaco scored a brace for Navelim in the 66th and 68th minute.
But the final score remained 6-4 in favour of Ambelim SC.
