In the semi-finals, Anura along with her partner P Sonika Sai lost to the pair Driti Yatish and Trisha Hegde of Karnataka (21-13 11-21 21-14).
In the girl’s singles U-19, Anura lost against first seeded Shikha Gautam 25-23 21-16 in the quarter-finals match.
Also in the Central Zone tournament held from November 17 to 20 Anura representing Air India along with her team won the U-19 team Championship (3-0) in which she won the girls singles against Pranavi Reddy in the final.
In the Central Zone tournament, she along with her teammates secured a silver medal in the senior category.
In the senior women’s finals, Anura won against PC Thulasi (21-17 21-16) of PSPB, who is also a gold medalist of National Games held in Kerela 2015.
