PANJIM: The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs (DSYA) has invited application from eligible sportspersons for conferring Dilip Sardesai Sports Excellence Award for the year 2018-2019.
This special Sports Award is instituted by the Government of Goa as a tribute to the Legendary Cricketer Dilip Sardesai. The award comprises of a bronze plaque, a citation and a purse of Rs. 2 lakhs and will be awarded to the highest achiever amongst Goan sportspersons representing India at any recognised International Senior Level Sports Competition during the year 2017-2018 (April 1, 2017–March 31, 2018) in Senior Category only.
The application forms should be collected from the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Office at Campal, Panjim during working hours. The completed forms in all respects with enclosing copies of certificate of sports achievements, countersigned by the competent authorities should be submitted to the Head Office, Campal on or before June 25, 2019 positively. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
