PANJIM: Sairaj Halarnkar and Dikshay netted a fine brace each as Assonora United Sports Club scored a resounding 6-1 win over Saligao Sporting in the Goa Football Association Second Division League match played at Sirsaim ground, on Sunday.
Vishnu Parwar and Dikshay R scored two goals in the first quarter only to see it being reduced to one as Chandan Govekar pulled a goal back for Saligao United.
Crossing over, it was totally Assonora who dominated the play as they scored four more goals. Francis Fernandes, Sairaj, Dikshay and Sairaj scored in the second half to take the final goal tally to 6-1.
