MAPUSA: Augustias SC managed to scrape past Anjuna Gymkhana SC by 3-2 margin in the GFA’s Boys U-13 league (IInd Division) held at Quitula grounds, on Wednesday.
It was Anjuna Gymkhana that went into the breather with a goal scored by Jonathan Fernandes.
On crossing over Eloi Colaco equalised for Augustias, with Eloi Colaco netting in two more goals to complete his hat-trick. Anish Asolkar scored the second goal for Anjuna Gymkhana.
In the other matches: Bidesh XI received a walkover as Laxmi Prasad SC failed to report for the match.
Super Goans defeated Portais SC by 4-I margin, while Ponda Footballers drubbed Piedade Ya Diwar by 7-1 margin.
On Tuesday: Valpoi FC trounced Adarsh YS by 12-3 margin, while Dunes SC drubbed YSC Colvale by 8-1 margin.
