PANJIM: The B23 football academy began their football coaching camp at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Sunday.
Over 60 children from Calangute and neighbouring villages participated on Day 1, who were closely monitored by top Goan coaches.
“We had a good response on Day 1 and I am happy with the turnout. The children enjoyed the sport and we had four winners in each category today. I am very happy to see the talent we have in the State,” stated Bibiano Fernandes. Following are the winners: U 14: Piyush Zarmekar; U-10: Varad Haldankar; U-12: Arnav Chari and U-10: Daniel Sheikh.
