PANJIM: Betalbatim Sports Club scored a massive 9-0 victory against Rumdamol Sports Club in GFA’s U-18 Second Division match at Nagoa ground, Verna, on Tuesday.
Irfal Lal opened the scoring in the very first minute. Rohan Yadav doubled the lead in the 6th, followed by Irfal’s second goal in the 22nd. Stanford Colaco then extended the lead to 4-0 in the 38th and Irfal rounded off the first half scoring his third and Betalbatim’s fifth goal in the 40th minute.
In the second half, Betalbatim resumed their dominance and quickly found the back of the net through Gladson Braganza in the 42nd. Samuel Barretto added to the lead in the 55th before Irfal netted his fourth in the 61st. Rohan Yadav completed his brace scoring the last goal in the 68th.
