MARGAO: Bhatikar Model School defeated Loyola HS by 44 runs to enter the final of Salcete Taluka Under-14 President Cup inter-school cricket tournament organized by Goa Cricket Association, at BITS Pilani ground, Zuari Nagar, on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first, Bhatikar scored 99 for 7 in 20 overs. Omprit Chodankar and Prallav Kerkar scored 31 and 29 runs respectively.
In reply, Loyola HS inning collapsed in just 55 runs. For Bhatikar Model HS Anish Maddolkar and H. P. Ganesh bagged two wickets each.
Bhatikar Model will play Manovikas HS in the finals.
