Winning the toss and electing to bat, Ponda RCC could muster up only 126 in the stipulated 35 overs. Sanath Prabhu (28 not out) was the only batsman to confidently face the tight Borda bowling. Sanath Nevgi and Anish Naik took two wickets each while Mrunal Sawant, Pralav Kerkar, Hrishikesh, Gandhar Thakur and Tushar Kudnekar snapped one each.
Tushar Kudnekar (35) led the charge for Borda and overhauled the Ponda score losing four wickets which were all run out. Pawan Kalligudda (21 not out) and Pralav Kerkar 11 not out) ensured that no more wickets fell. Borda scored 130 for 4 in 32 overs
