NAVELIM: Candolim Sports Club defeated Sporting Club Davorlim 6-5 via the tie-breaker to enter in the semi-finals of the 29th Mandopa inter-village football tournament, at Mandopa ground, Navelim.
Both the teams were tied at 3-3 in the full session.

Candolim SC opened the account through Sanket Jotkar. The lead was short lived as Sporting Club Davorlim got the goal equalised by a self goal from Candolim player. Later within a span of three minutes before the breather SC Davorlim netted two goals. First Delton Colaco netted through a pass received from William. Agnelo Colaco scored the third goal for SC Davorlim. In the second session, Candolim SC scored two goals and level the score 3-3. Sanket Jotkar and Siddhant Kalangutkar were the scorers. In the resultant tie-breaker, Candolim SC proved to be better shooters.
