PANJIM: Chandor Club survived Betalbatim Sporting Club scare following their 5-3 tie-breaker win to advance in the Lourdes Soccer, organised by Ambelim Sports Club and played at Ambelim ground, on Monday.
The teams were tied 2-2 at the end of the regulation time as Chandor scored through Louie Noronha and Cruz Gomes while Dylan Rodrigues and Jasman Noronha scored for Betalbatim.
In the tie-breaker, Chandor proved to be the better shooters.
