Chandor Club came up with an inspired performance to beat Sao Jose de Areal 7-6 via sudden death to romp into the semi-finals of John Raikar Memorial football tournament organised by Sporting Club of Davorlim, at Davorlim panchayat grounds, on Wednesday.
The teams were locked barren goalless draw at the end of regulation period. Tie-breaker also failed to resolve the deadlock. In the sudden death resorted, Chandor Club had their last laugh.
Chandor Club had a major share of exchanges in both halves but Lady Luck did not smile on them during the normal period of play.
