MARGAO: Chinchinim Veterans came from behind to hold Sports Authority of India Veterans 6-6 in the 50 plus Veterans futsal tournament, at Chowgule Sports Centre, Margao.
In the first half, Frankie Mascarenhas scored a hat-trick while Yeshwant Parab netted the fourth goal for SAI.
Inacio Fernandes was lone goal scorer for Chinchinim.
In the second half, SAI inflated the lead through Chico Fernandes.
Chinchinim refused to throw in the towel as Former Dempo player Mahesh Lotlikar scored a hat-trick to galvanise the team. Xavier Fernandes equalised to make it 5-5
In the final minutes of the game, Chico found the net once again.
Inacio equalised just before the final whistle to make it square.
In the second match Mangor Sports Club drew with Assolna Veterans 4-4.
