PANJIM: Margao, nay, the entire Goa is agog with excitement as the Goa Derby involving giants Churchill Bros and Salgaocar engage in a battle royale in a 16th round I-League match at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda on Sunday at 3.30 p.m.
Churchill are presently 3rd with 29 points from 14 matches while Salgaocar are 6th with 25 points from 15 matches.
The Goa giants will leave nothing to chance as the race for the I-League crown is open. It could well be a battle of attrition, which will attract a large crowd.
Special buses will leave from Mobor and Navleim at 2 p.m.
