NAVELIM: Corps of Signals Club defeated Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao 4-1 in their Goa Professional League match at the 3MTR ground, on Tuesday.
Signals dominated the first half and took a well deserved 2-0 lead.
Corps got off to the perfect start as they managed to open the scoring in the 10th minute of the match through TH Roshan Singh.
Striker Pawan Thakur made it 2-0 for Corps of Signals in the last quarter of first half.
Crossing ends, Corps of Signals inflated their lead to 3-0 through Lairellakpam in the 49th minute.
Clube Sao Migeul Taleigao managed to pull a goal back through Manuel Fernandes in the 55th minute.
Paean made it 4-1 with a clinical finish in the 86th minute for Corps.
At Tilak Maidan, Vasco, Salgaocar FC and Dempo SC played out a 2-2 draw.
