MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy Sanquelim scored a huge 5-0 win over Kevnem Sports Club Sanquelim in the GFA’s U-18 League match, at Sanquelim ground, Sanquelim, on Tuesday.
The Sesa colts held the upper-hand throughout the proceedings and went into the breather with a two-goal cushion.
In the 23rd minute, they shot into the lead when Cyres Noronha unleashed a rasping long range shot which found no answer from the rival keeper.
Minutes later, Cyres netted in his brace from inside the penalty box.
Changing over Lionel D’Souza sent in a perfect cross to unmarked Kunal Salgaonkar who made no mistake to slot the ball home, 3-0.
In the 70th minute of play Cyres managed to complete his hat-trick when he gave finishing touches to Malcolm Gonsalves pass, 4-0.
Towards the fag end of the match Lionel D’Souza fired the final nail in the Kevnem coffin through a solo effort, 5-0.
