DRAMAPUR: Sporting club of Davorlim blanked Fr Agnel Youth Club Paroda 2-0 and moved into the quarterfinals of the 43rd St Joseph Festival Football tournament organised by Dramapur Sports Club at Dramapur ground on Sunday.
Agnelo Colaco of Davorlim initiated a lot of moves and even scored a brace.

The teams produced a keen match despite pouring rain. Davorlim drew first blood in the 25th when Colaco’s rasping shot found the net off Paroda’s Benzu Clement.
Davorlim swelled the lead in 32nd minute through Agnelo Colaco off Cliffton Rebello’s assist. Paroda tried hard but their forwards Sladen Fernandes and Savio Vales missed chances.
Davorlim goalkeeper Ashikesk Shetty effected a string of saves to keep Paroda at bay.
