PANJIM: A five-goal blitz from Reanzil Barreto enabled Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda score a thumping 8-2 win over Rumdamol Sports Club in the Goa Football Association U-16 League on Tuesday.
Don Bosco Oratory led 4-0 at the breather with Eliseus Niasso opening the scoring in the 13th minute. In the next minute, Reanzil consolidated the lead before adding the third. Treston Noronha scored the fourth in the 29th minute.
Crossing over, Rumdamol pulled a goal back through Rahul Bhosle.
However, Don Bosco smashed in two more goals through Rayan Pinto and Reanzil Barreto, who completed his treble in the 50th minute.
Rahul Bhosle added his second in the 55th minute for Rumdamol but the game was beyond their reach as Reanzil netted two more goals to take the final tally to 8-2.
At Dramapur ground, Betalbatim Sporting defeated Sirlim Sports Club 2-1.
Christ Rebello and Selwyn Soares scored for Betalbatim while Shario Gomes pulled a goal back for Sirlim SC.
