FATORDA: Goa’s Deepak Ashanagar has been selected in the Indian men handball team that will participate in the 25th Handball Days Lubeck International Handball Championship which will be held in Germany from June 28 to 30.
Deepak Ashanagar, a goalkeeper, hails from Dicarpale – Navelim and has been a regular player of Goa handball team and represented the State in different age groups at handball nationals.
Goa Handball Association felicitated Deepak Ashanagar at a function held at Fatorda Stadium in the presence of Rupesh Mahatme , President of Goa Handball Association, Ramesh Desai, Raju Adpaikar, Sanju Gaonkar and others.
