PANJIM: Our Lady of Health HS, Cuncolim defeated Marina English HS, Verna 3-0 to advance in the UCV Inter-School U-16 football tournament, at Chinchinim ground, on Thursday. All the goals were scored in the second half. Saiesh Gaonkar netted a brace while Velito Rocha scored the third.
In the second match, Perpetual Succour Convent HS defeated St Rock HS Tolleacanto 3-0. Man-of-the-match award winner Aden Dias scored a brace while Freldon Gomes netted the third for the winners.
