MAPUSA/RAIA: Dempo Sports Club managed to prevail over Sesa Football Academy by 4-2 margin in the GFA’s Goa Professional League match played at Ella ground, on Friday.
Dempo SC struck two goals in each session of play.

Pratik Naik opened the account for Dempo SC in the 34th minute of play with Khaigunhao Haokip doubling the lead in the added time of the first session.
On crossing over, Shreyash Naik scored Dempo SC’s third goal.
Sesa FA tried to get back into the match with Joshua D’Silva netting a brace to make it 3-2.
However, in the 95th minute, Dempo SC’s Faseen P K scored the insurance goal for his team.
Cortalim Villagers Social Welfare Sports Club rallied to hold Guardian Angel SC to a 2-2 draw at Nagao panchayat ground.
Both teams gave their best in the first 15 minutes of play with midfielder of Guardian Angel SC Brivon Dias missing a chance to score in the very 3rd minute, while Cortalim defender Velroy Carvalho missed a chance to score in the 6th minute.
The powerful long ranger of Cortalim striker Vikram Venkatachalam went wide in the 36th minute, while Guardian Angel SC’s Brivon Dias shot went over the crossbar of Cortalim Villagers Social Welfare Sports Club.
After that Vikram’s shot from a close range but the crossbar of Guardian Angel SC denied it in the 43rd minute.
Guardian Angel SC opened the scoreline through James Fernandes in the 49th minute. Cortalim equalised through Velroy in the 90+5 minute. Godwin Fernandes further inflated the lead for Guardian Angel SC in the 99+6 minute. Immediately, Francis Vincent equalised for Cortalim in the 99+7 minute.
