Dicarpale SC edge past Rumdamol SC

PANJIM: Dicarpale Sports Club scripted a narrow 2-1 win over Rumdamol Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Third Division League, at Mandopa ground, on Tuesday.
After initial exchange of ends, Bonny Niasso finally put Dicarpale deservingly ahead in the game in the 10th minute. 
Rumdamol SC’s poor game plan and approach resulted in conceding their second goal in the 35th minute when Reeve D’Costa doubled the account for the winners.
However, Rohan Bhosale pulled a goal back just before the breather to make it 1-2.
In another match at Tilamola ground, a thrilling second half saw eight goals being scored between two sides, as Chandor Club and Tilamola United split points in the 10-goal thriller.
For Chandor, who led 2-0 at the break, Richard scored a fine hat-trick while Roston R netted a brace. 
While at the other end, Tilamola United scored all their five goals in the second session through Assli’s brace and a strike each from Macklon, Selrino and Joel.
At Poriat ground, after playing a 1-1 draw in the first 45 minutes, Adarsh Yuvak Sangh defeated Bastora United SCC 5-3.
Adarash came from behind to stun Bastora. Kenrick Menezes put Bastora ahead only to see it being cancelled by Sandish Chopdekar in the 38th minute with the leveller.
In the second half, Bastora netted two more goals through Inacio Menezes but Adarsh came back strongly and scored four more goals. Raj Jadhav and Nehal Chopdekar netted a brace each for Adarsh.
At Siolim ground, St Sebastian SC defeated Siolim Sodiem SC. Rahul Naik scored a brace while Nelson Montiero added the third for the winners.
Siolim’s Sonu Mandrekar received straight red card for rough play.
