MAPUSA: DM’s Kushe Higher Secondary School, Assagao got the better of St Xaviers HSS Moira 3-1 in the Bardez Taluka U-17 Boys Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, played at Duler Stadium, on Thursday.
Rohan Arolkar, Sameer K and Dattaraj G got a goal each for the Assagao side while Kaushik Shetye scored the consolation goal for Moira.
In the second match of the day, St Thomas Higher Secondary School Aldona registered a 3-1 win over SFX High School Siolim. Anford Fernandez, Ryan Fernandez and Harsh Pawar scored for Aldona while Domnic scored for SFX High School Siolim.
