COLLEM: Immaculate Conception High School Colsoi – Dabal emerged Dharbandoda taluka champs defeating Our Lady of Piety High School Collem 5-2 in the U-17 boys while their U-14 boys team beat Abhinav Vidyamandir High School Mollem, to bag double honours in the group football tournaments organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs for the secondary school students of Dharbandoda at Mollem Village Panchayat ground recently .
In the U-17 boys finals Selvino D’costa scored a brace while Glaselee Fernandes, Sahile Khandeparkar and Shanu Gaonkar scored one goal each for Immaculate.
In the U-14 boys tournaments Aovib Patel scored three good goals while Rockson Rebello and Vaibhav Gaonkar scored one goal each for the Immaculate.
Rupesh Prabhu P.E. teacher of the school and coach Tony Fernandes alongwith Ritesh Gaonkar and Dinesh trained the students. Headmistress Flory Rodrigues congratulated the students and P.E. teacher for the success.
