RAIA: Dramapur Sports Club edged past Candolim Sports Club 3-2 to book their place in the semi-finals of 25th All-Goa Our Lady of Merces 8-a-side inter-village football tournament organised by Sirlim SC at Chichinim church ground, on Tuesday.
Ashley Fernandes put Candolim SC ahead in the 14th minute. A couple of minutes later, Chadel Fernandes levelled the score for Dramapur SC with a curling free-kick, giving no chance to the rival goalkeeper.
In the second half, Chadel doubled the lead to complete his brace and put Dramapur SC up 2-1. Senoy Oliveira increased the lead, scoring the third goal for Drampur SC in the 47th minute. Melwyn Lobo reduced the margin for Candolim SC in the 52nd minute.
