AMBELIM: Dramapur Sports Club defeated Ambelim SC 4-2 in the GFA Third Division League match played at Ambelim ground, on Sunday.
Dramapur SC attacked right from the first whistle and had their first shot on target in the 6th minute when Selwyn Rodrigues dribbled past couple of rival defenders before unleashing a powerful shot which was brilliantly saved by the keeper.
In the 10th minute, Dramapur’s Steflon D’Costa’s shot was blocked by Ambelim’s Salvador Rodrigues. Dramapur finally took the lead in the 15th minute through Selwyn Rodrigues, however Myrol Pereira equalised for Ambelim in the 24th minute with a powerful header.
Crossing over, Velroy Dias doubled the account for Dramapur in the 54th minute. Within eight minutes Steflon D’Costa made it 3-1 for Dramapur. In the 83rd minute, Salvador Rebello made in 2-3 for Ambelim.
Stanfer Dias further inflated the lead for Dramapur 4-2 in the 90th minute.
