PANJIM: Dunes SC beat Pilerne SC 3-1 in the Second Division League organised by Goa Football Association played, at Quitula ground, on Saturday.
Pudatila Naik gave the Pilerne side the lead in the 29th minute.
But everything changed in the second half, as Dunes SC came from behind as Shashank Naik scored two goals in the 61st and 80th minute and Vivek Naik added another for the winners in the final minutes of the game.
In another match held at Sirsaim ground, St Anthony’s SC, Marna and Sinquerim SC played out a 2-2 draw.
Kedar Dhalgalkar opened the scoring for St Anthony’s SC, Marna in the 4th minute before Sinquerim SC’s Ashish Gawas equalised in the 12th minute.
Post resumption, the Marna side shot into the lead yet again through Videsh Sawant but failed to defend the lead as Sinquerim SC made it all square in the 65th minute through Chandan Govekar.
