MANDREM: Dunes Sports Club triumphed over Saligao United with a 2-0 victory to advance in the 2nd Rosary Cup Mandrem 2024, held at the Mandrem village panchayat ground, on Tuesday.
Cyprian Rodrigues was the hero of the match, scoring both goals in the 24th and 27th minutes. The halftime score stood at 2-0.
In the 60th minute, Saligao’s Kenrick Menezes missed an open goal from the six-yard box.
Cyprian Rodrigues was named man-of-the-match, with the award presented by Patricio D’Souza, Saligao United’s manager.
