RUMBA-CURTORIM: Novowaddo Sports Club downed Cumborda Sports Club 3-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Rumba United Curtorim inter-ward football tournament organised by Rumba United, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
In the 10th minute, John Fernandes opened the account for Novowaddo. Myson Fernandes doubled the lead then in the 28th minute while Frezley Fernandes made it 3-0 for Novowaddo.
Cumborda’s Myron Fernandes tried his best with long range shots but unfortunately all the shots were off the target.
