MAPUSA: Riding on a brilliant hat-trick by Faheez Mohammad, Bidesh XI Sports Club registered a thumping 6-0 margin win over PVC Parra in the third-round match of the GFA Second Division league, played at Duler Stadium, here on Wednesday.
Bidesh XI were a dominant force throughout the match and completely outclassed their opponents in all the departments.
After creating some decent chances, Bidesh XI opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Dnyaneshwar Pednekar, getting hold off a pass from Saish Kavlekar, fired a low grounder that gave no chance to the Parra keeper, 1-0
Bidesh could have increased their lead but a 40-yard shot by Chandan Narulkar hit the woodwork and then a well-connected half volley by Gauresh Bugde went inches wide of the target.
Dnyaneshwar scored his brace for Bidesh before the half time whistle from a long ball delivered into the box by Gauresh, 2-0
Crossing end, Parra instead of showing any resilience of getting back into the match just crumbled and conceded four more goals with Faheez Mohammed netting a hat-trick, scoring in the 70th, 77th and 92nd minute.
The third goal for Bidesh XI was an own goal when Parra keeper Marshal made a mess off a long ball which crept into the net.
