BAIDA-CHINCHINIM: Fatorda Veterans got the better of Quepem Veterans 4-2 via tie-breaker to move into finals of 1st Our Lady of Fatima Sports Club Veterans Cup 2022 organised by Our Lady of Fatima Sports Club, Baida-Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim.
At the end of regulation time, both the teams settled for a 0-0 draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Vishant Pednekar, Uday Naik, Anthony Pereira and Shaik Niaz netted for Fatorda Veterans while only Pascoal Fernandes and Rosario Carvalho converted for Quepem Veterans.
Man-of-the-Match was awarded to Pascoal Fernandes of Quepem Veterans.
In the finals, Fatorda Veterans will meet Dovondem Veterans on July 10.
