VARCA: Fatrade A got the better of Demis B 5-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 2nd late Chelsea Memorial Inter-Ward football tournament organised by Varca United at Varca Sports Club ground, on Thursday.
Cavin opened the account for Demis in the 8th minute but the joy was short-lived as Desmond levelled terms for Fatrade A in the 46th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Fatrade A proved to be better shooters.
In another match, Novangully A defeated Demis A 4-1 to move into the quarters. For Novangully A, Bapan netted a brace while Quelon, and Ronny scored a goal each. Demis A pulled a goal back through Clayton.
