VARCA: Fatrade B defeated Laxette 3-2 via the tiebreaker to make progress at the Varca Cup at Varca ground on Wednesday.
The shootout was enforced after the teams were locked goalless at the end of regulation time.
In the tiebreaker, Fatrade B netted through Backdom, Desmond and Nolan. Laxette scored through Constancio and Ashu.
Novangully defeated Calvaddo 2-0 in another match.
Tennyson and Rosario were on target. Jerry D. Cista presented the man of the match award to Lanroy Mendonza of Calvaddo.
