MAPUSA: FC Goa had an easy outing as they overpowered Guardian Angel SC by 4-1 margin in the Goa Football Association’s U-17 Division I League match played at Guirim ground.
In a dominant performance, FC Goa’s Freden opened the scoring with an header in the 30th minute of play. Just eight minutes later, Guardian Angel SC hit back with Anslem Fernandes scoring from a direct free-kick to level the score, 1-1.
Asher once again put his team ahead with a long range effort in the 41st minute and Meldon rounded the keeper and scored after receiving an through ball from Sangam just before the first half whistle. Lesvin pumped in the fourth goal in the 80th minute with a neat placement to wrap up full three points.
