CURTORIM: Fondegal downed Paldem 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Curtorim inter-ward 2nd 9-a-side football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club of Curtorim, at Curtorim ground, on Wednesday.
Josly Fernandes netted a hat-trick for Fondegal as the goals were scored in the 5th, 19th and 16th minutes while Jovin pulled a goal back for Paldem in the 20th minute.
Three minutes later, Myron Mascarenhas made it 4-1 for Fondegal.
Man-of-the-match Stevan Fernandes made it 2-4 for Paldem in the 36th minute.
